The challenge:
AT&T is the title sponsor of the Cowboys Stadium. As title sponsor, they get a lot of assets and media in and around the stadium to play with. One of these assets was a bank of screens at the east entrance to the stadium (see image right).
These screens had traditionally been used for nothing more than digital advertising. We were tasked with finding a way to use these screens that would ‘demonstrate the power of their new 5G network’.
Pose with the Pros
The idea:
No one comes to the Cowboys Stadium to hear about network speeds. So we improved on their brief and suggested that maybe AT&T could leverage their technology capabilities to give fans something they would truly value: a selfie with their favorite players.
The Execution:
Pose with the Pros saw us completely disassemble and rebuild these screens so that they could be used to create an AR experience.
Fans could now approach the screens, select their favorite Cowboys’ players, and instantly receive a digital selfie of them surrounded by their beloved Cowboy teammates.
